Erzsebet Hotel
The hotel is located right in the heart of Budapest, on the busy Pest side of the river Danube, close to the business and commercial district, as well as the city's unique nightlife. It is situated only 2 kilometres from the main railway station and a 30 minutes drive from the airport.

Erzsebet Hotel
Standing on a site that has played host to a hotel since 1873, the Erzsébet is none the less a renovated modern property situated on a busy downtown street. Though perfectly functional, the medium sized lobby has a slightly gloomy atmosphere, with dark brown furniture and a cosy bar. The 123 guestrooms – mostly twins with a few doubles available – vary in size, but few are particularly large. They are decorated in neutral brown and cream tones, with generic furniture. All are clean and decently maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The main restaurant, serving regional and international cuisine, is decorated in the same dark tones as the rest of the hotel, but is spacious and comfortable. It offers a rich Continental buffet breakfast daily from 7.00 am to 10.00 am. During the day, guests can also enjoy cold and hot meals, Hungarian and international drinks in the Sissi Snack and Drinkbar located in the lobby. It is open from midday to midnight.

Comment
The Hotel staff were very helpful but the check out was a little slow. It was very clean and ideal for a long weekend sight seeing.
Top Tip
The open air bus tour is only worth a 24 hour ticket as the places to "hop on/off" are too limited.
