The hotel is located in downtown Budapest, on the Grand Boulevard, which was once a branch of the Danube. Due to its central location one can easily reach all monuments, such as Heroes’ Square, the Opera, the Academy of Music and the Danube (Margaret Island is 15 minutes' walk from the hotel).

The Radisson SAS Beke Hotel is housed in a 4-storey building, which dates from the beginning of the 19th century. Opened as a hotel in 1914, the property has been modernised several times, but still preserves its original values and traditions. It was completely re-built in 1985 in order to serve guests with modern amenities. The spacious lobby features long reception desk, marble flooring, several lifts and a comfortable bar with deep sofas and plenty of greenery. The 247 large guestrooms are very pleasantly decorated in elegant pastel colours, complemented by pale wood furniture. They are clean and well maintained, as are the large ceramic bathrooms. The "Szondi Lugas" Restaurant on the first floor of the hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Refurbished in 2001, it radiates fresh and easy hospitality, with Mediterranean colours, flowers and comfortable chairs. There is also a typical Hungarian taverna on the ground floor, where local specialities are served in a candle-lit setting with live gypsy music.
