The Sissi Hotel is a pension-like property, housed in a 6-storey terraced building, which, though only 5 years old, is designed in a traditional style. It is named after the Empress Elizabeth, Queen of Hungary (nicknamed ‘Sissi’ by her husband) and there is a portrait of her in the lobby. The interior is tastefully appointed in an elegant, minimalist style. The 44 comfortable guestrooms are clean and well equipped, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a Continental buffet every morning in its attractive breakfast room. There’s also a summer terrace and a bright, well-furnished lobby bar.
